About Me

Who am I?

what's it all about?

Liam is a musician now living in Brighton, UK. His biggest enjoyment being writing songs and playing live, and loves the creative side of music.

Growing up, he was a quiet lad, often preferring his own company to others. But at the age of nine, he picked up a guitar for the first time, and never put it back down again. Whilst learning to play the guitar, he had also been learning to play the clarinet and taught himself the piano.

Throughout secondary school, he was known as 'the musical one' because every morning his bus to school would arrive quite early, and so, with the time to spare, he made his way to the music department, find himself an instrument, usually a guitar, and and sit on the corridor floor playing. All of this would eventually lead him to win an award from the school for 'excellence in music'.

He went on to achieve an A-Level in music and further studied at BIMM University in Brighton, where he achieved a degree in Professional Musicianship specialising in guitar performance.

It was in Brighton where he really began striving to be the musician he wanted to be, and so he formed a band called Bad News Bear in the summer of 2021 with the help of a fellow producer, and they recorded some rough demos. Later, the band went into the studio and recorded official singles and then released a total of four singles together, until he put the band on an indefinite hiatus in late 2023 to pursue his music and songwriting as a solo artist.

The songs Liam has been releasing under his own name, have all been written, recorded, arranged, produced, mixed and mastered by him. Being self-taught in all areas of music production, it has been a real ongoing learning process with every track. Constantly striving to have the next single to be an improvement than the one before it.

Liam also has released a CD of his own produced songs titled 'The Fun Side of the Sunset : part 1' which is available from the store.

Currently Liam is starting up a new project called Lost By Monday which aims to develop everything he's been working on with music and art and spin it into a different direction with similar themes and a full band backing him.
